I spotted a cup of Schärdinger Coffee & Cookie — Latte Macchiato in megastore on my last business trip. I decided I try it. It seems to be a trend recently that many of these types of cold coffees come with a cookie. Who does not like a cookie after all?

Personal opinion
I first tasted the cookie. It is there for a reason I believe so why not start with a bite. A delightful piece of cookie. You must know the type when it is on a plate and with all its friends you just cannot stop after the first one. I had to stop after the first bite as I wanted to taste it with the coffee as well, so I did.
Based on previous experiences with latte macchiatos in a cup for some time, I knew I have to shake it well, so I shook for some time. Not yet sure if that helped or just the texture of this latte macchiato is better then average, but it was very smooth. When I took the first slip, I was blown away. Congrats Schärdinger, your latte macchiato is on my top list now. I will drink it when I want to go for a sweet drink that is for sure.
I kept on drinking and looking through the windshield of my rental. I was thinking about life. I am far away from my family due to my work, and I still need to find a reason to keep moving on so I can get home safe again. As I was drinking, I almost finished the cup when I just remembered I still have some cookie. The nest taste was with a bite of cookie and a slip of latte macchiato on top of it. I just played around with my tongue in my mouth to get the most taste out of it. I was not in a rush anywhere. Who is running to get settled in a hotel room? I really enjoyed the texture of the cookie as it was melting in the latte macchiato. Do memories come to you in such a moment? Sometimes it is bizarre what happens but let me share with you. It was the coconut macarons my wife makes sometimes.
