Christmas is around the corner but first it’s time for Sint and Piet to stop by. In the Netherlands Sinterklaas is coming with lots of Piets. He is coming with a steamboat from Spain. They used to be all black but not any longer. Kids love them no matter what color they are. Many years ago when we fist took part of these celebrations my kids enjoyed them but of course held our hands strong.

December just started and so many exciting things happen. One of the most important is when Sinterklaas arrives with all his help. He comes with the many Piets. Maybe I should call them Peters as that is more or less the translation. I am sure someone will drop me a line on this if I’m wrong about it.

They come in different colors and the same goes to picking them as for color pencils. The more colors you have the better.
