Creating a mood tracker itself can improve your mood. Finding the right theme for your mood tracker is not too complicated. Just look around. Do you see anything that reminds you of anything good? That is a perfect theme. When you’ll look at it you’ll feel a lot better. Give it a try.
Did any of the ideas on this blog post inspire you? Do you want to be listed on a page like Santa in the chimney inspires others? Then, please send me an email with a photo of your way of implementing it.
I have been, or can be if you click on a link and make a purchase, compensated via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I or my family use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
1. Christmas tree lights
Do you remember when we still used bulbs on our Christmas tree? If not that only means you are young. I still remember when I was a child and the lights did not turn on because one bulb was out. My father was trying to replace one after another to find the bad one. And finally, lights were on and we just stared at the beautiful Christmas tree like it was one of the biggest wonders.
2. Lady with flowers
For some reason, girls love huge skirts so that can also be a great mood tracker.
When my wife sent over the photos and asked which of them is my favorite I picked this one. Maybe I’m thinking more simply but for sure I can see it turning over to be a very colorful picture.
If you want to create this mood tracker you will need a ruler with different sizes of circles in it.
4. Lady with a hairnet
Two things came to my mind when I first saw this mood tracker. The first one was a store I passed by many times when I arrived in Budapest with a train. They had a similar symbol. The second one is more interesting. First time I ever saw an African woman she was dressed just like the one on this mood tracker. She had a colorful hair net holding her hair together and many beads decorating her clothing.
This idea is really a good one. I like it. You can use any shorter words that remind you of something good, fun.
Have you seen the movie Avatar? If yes, you will know that willow trees are not necessarily reminding you things that are sad but more important things. When I meet a tree I always say hi to them. They remind me each time that we live on the same planet and we need to share the space. All the trees are silently standing around and making sure we have oxygen to breathe. So do not look at any willows any more like they are sad. They are only different.
You might have seen it in another post here. If you browse through all these mood trackers you might ask why so many? It is so fun when a month is over and one is filled, you’ll just use another one and color it with the same moods and see how a different tracker looks like. Using a planner where you can add, remove or replace a page you can then just put them all in or the one that turns out the best for you.
What a big mistake of mine. It starts with a coffee so this should be in the first place. I decided to put it to the last as it is part of March 2019. If you drink coffee as I do then you also know coffee is not only good to start with but to finish with as well.
Materials used to create the above pages
Here below is a list of online available tools, pens, pencils we use ourselves.
They come in different colors and the same goes for picking them as for color pencils. The more colors the better.
Color pencil sets from Faber-Castell
We found these pencils really good quality and we highly recommend them. The more colors you have the easier you color your pages.
Staedtler Pigment Liners
Another alternative to the Sakura Pigment Liners is from Staedtler. My wife found these the same quality so she is recommending them as well.
